From the point of booking, the knowledge and reassurance has helped to get us all to the start point feeling prepared and capable. The calm leadership from Jo comes from tens of successful expeditions and we all felt at ease under her guidance. The route, the camaraderie from the guides and porters and the fun of it all made for a life changing trip. The terrain of the approach to Kili and the actual ascent and views from the summit were incredible. Climbing Kilimanjaro is a must do and a life-changing experience. It is very challenging, but a lot of fun with some beautiful sites to take in along the way. The expedition was really well organised and the porters and guides made the whole experience super special with their energy and enthusiasm.
