Our team of intrepid explorers have arrived safely in Kathmandu, Nepal ready to take on the adventure of a life time and they’ll be raising more than just a little to support the work of Cancer Research UK.
Over the next 17 days each of our 32 trekkers will take on an extraordinary challenge to reach the base camp of the highest mountain in the world. Following in the footsteps of some of the most famous names in the world of mountaineering they will experience new cultures, face long challenging days and really step out of their comfort zone in order to support a cause close to their heart. You can keep up to date with how they’re getting on by following us on twitter or finding us on facebook.
The money raised by this trek will help Cancer Research UK to continue to save lives through ground breaking research into cancer.
For months now, alongside their training and preparation for the trek the team has been working hard to raise funds. If you would like to support the trekkers please do contribute to Nicola’s fundraising efforts – Nicola is representing Cancer Research UK on this incredible adventure.
If you too have a charity close to your heart, why not consider taking on one of our amazing challenges and raising valuable funds at the same time?
