They look after the welfare of the trekkers every step of the way with advice on kit, health, exercise regimes leading up to the treks and of course when in country. The routes are often not the obvious crowded routes on mountains such as Kilimanjaro but ones with the best scenery and that give all the best chance of getting to the summit and often taking an extra day to support acclimatization. Client welfare and getting the best out of the treks is clearly of the utmost importance.
