An excellent course, well run and comprehensively organised, a wide range of experiences and opportunities, expertly delivered in a friendly and fun atmosphere. The skills I’ve learnt are essential to safe mountaineering and trekking, this course has now opened doors for me to new adventures. Rolfe and Ben provided a huge range of opportunities to learn vital skills but also went out of their way to contextualise those skills into real world mountaineering scenarios which not only helped me to learn the skills but also recognise their real-world application, relevance, and importance.
Sleeping in the snow-hole in sub-zero conditions high in the Pyrenees will always be a bragging right! There is no one specific highlight as they were all so good, if there was one thing that I’ll remember, it will be the people on the course, especially the friendliness and approachability of Rolfe and Ben, and particularly Rolfe who is without doubt ‘unique’. You know you’ve had a great time when you arrive home exhausted, but with a huge smile on your face.
