Holly Moffitt

Marketing & Sales Manager

Holly has always had a zest for life inspired by her Dad’s military career – picking up navigation skills whilst orienteering, wandering in the Manx hills and running around army bases have been part of growing up. Although it was really since trekking the Great Wall of China and soon after summiting Kilimanjaro on New Year’s Eve, the adventure bug really took hold. The decision was made to fly the nest and make the move to the French Pyrenees, finding a base in the heart of the mountains. This of course led to every spare moment gallivanting along the trails on epic runs and stunning treks and cycling the great cols on a bike that got saved from the back of a truck heading for a junk yard. Pimped up with a pink horn for extra style.

The myriad of adventures doesn’t stop there, from running the hills in the Faroe Islands to kayaking both sides of the Pyrenees border. When she swaps sun for snow, Holly enjoys honing her winter skills in the mountains. Having summited Toubkal and fell in love with the Atlas mountain range, she now has more mountains in her sights. Although deciding which one is up next is a tough call!

Having got her diving certificate in the UK, she is yet to embark on a diving adventure of dreams. Although her latest muse is a gorgeous blue set of roller skates with sights set on skating the dam.

In between adventures of her own, Holly works her marketing magic at 360 and helps to make people’s adventure dreams a reality.

Interview

What three bits of advice would you give to people who are keen on adventures, trekking and climbing?

Just do it! You will only regret the adventures you don’t embark on. Secondly, get a good pair of boots or trainers to trek in and the rest can be borrowed, bought second-hand and saved up for. Last but not least, a well-fuelled adventure makes for maximum enjoyment potential! Come prepared with your favourite snacks – mine is chocolate, although not heat-proof it has perked me up when needed.

An amazing experience, tough but really good fun. The event is well run, the staff are very professional and supportive, they made us feel at ease.
