Sofie’s our Gran Canaria guru! Born in Belgium, she’s been living in Spain for nearly 20 years, 13 years so far on the Canary Islands.
In her own words…”Its inaccessible ravines, dramatic scenery and deserted villages will never stop fascinating me! I have always been a hiking-passionate nature lover. This force, together with my love for the Canary Islands made me turn my hobby into my profession. In 2013 I participated in the state exams and I have been working as a guide ever since.”
Sofie’s not only an excellent leader, but fascinating too – with a wealth of knowledge on volcanism, local flora and fauna, history and architecture, she turns our hikes into lively, cheerful, unforgettable experiences!
